EXPERIENCED INSURANCE UNDERWRITER who has gained over 17 years’ experience within the insurance industry. Has gained excellent technical knowledge and extensive experience in Commercial and Personal Lines insurance from within major general insurance companies. Currently underwrites new and existing business for commercial property, liability, motor trade & D&O insurances. Builds effective trading relationships with brokers through trading activity. Contributes to the improvement of profitability by conducting regular audits, broker visits and/or regular renewal surgeries and monitoring and analysing referral logs. Acts as a referral point for scheme brokers to support them to make underwriting decisions within their empowerment.

 

Applicant Qualifications

Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. BA (Hons) in History and Economics.
