CLAIMS HANDLER who has gained over 2 years industry experience. In last role, recorded and investigated the initial notification of loss when a customer had been involved in a motor collision, whether in writing or over the phone. Made a decision regarding liability and indemnity before communicating this decision to the customer verbally and in writing. Often customers disagreed with the liability or indemnity decisions made. In these instances, needed to convince the customer the decision was the correct one and be able to justify why he reached a certain conclusion. Also investigated any fraudulent or exaggerated claims.
