COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT HANDLER with extensive experience of Commercial insurance, initially as an Underwriter (assessing, rating and accepting full range of products - both standard and non-standard risks). More recently as a Corporate Account Handler dealing with a book of business with over £200,000 income. Performed role of Assistant Team Leader, which involved underwriting the larger complicated risks, handling referrals and deputising during team leader. Lately undertook a similar, but broader, management role within a broking environment. Key member of the project team responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of a large PC based policy administration system for Commercial Insurance products - completed on time, within budget and very well received by the business. Worked closely with new members of staff, designing/implementing replacement training to rectify training inconsistencies.

Cert CII qualified. Working towards Diploma, first module passed.
