Surveyor - South West

Specialist loss assessing practice operating within Scotland seeks an experienced loss adjuster or insurance claims handler to take up this key appointment, as our client looks to further expand its successful regional operation.  You will principally deal with domestic losses through the management of a dedicated contractor network throughout Scotland, but you should also be capable of assisting the Director with a wide range of challenging commercial losses always in excess of £100,000 and regularly up to £1 million. 

Applicant Requirements

Candidates can have a background within loss adjusting, loss assessing or an insurer with experience of external visits.  This is an outstanding opportunity for someone to take on a genuinely progressive role with a business that will reward commitment, endeavour and success.  The right candidate could, in time, achieve Director status and even a shareholding.  The position is home-based and will require you to operate throughout the whole of Scotland. Professional qualifications would be preferred but are not essential.   Basic salary up to £50,000 plus generous commission structure that will provide a significant wage enhancement.

Job Profile

High Net Worth Division of major loss adjusting practice seeks to strengthen its team operating within the South East through the appointment of an additional adjuster who will be home-based and ideally living to the south of London.  You will deal with a quality portfolio of Private Clients losses, both for traditional insurers and Lloyd's clients.  All losses require full claims handling and a dedicated service that goes above and beyond the norm.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates will ideally have some experience of handling losses in the Private Clients sector, but due consideration will be given to traditional domestic and/or commercial property adjusters who seek to specialise in this area.  The position is home-based and the ideal candidate would live to the south of London to enable easy coverage of the South London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent areas.  Degree and/or professional qualifications through CII/CILA would be preferred but is not essential.  Basic salary potentially up to £50,000 plus generous bonus, car allowance, pension, private medical care and 25 days holiday.
